The R&D administration at the faculty and the centre provides information and guidance to those seeking external funding for collaborative research at HiOA. The central R&D section assists in the guidance and can quality assure applications and facilitate for networking.
Note that project fundings are HiOA’s property.
Researchers at HiOA participate in several cooperation programmes supported by government funding. The faculties inform about subject specific support schemes and funding sources. You can read about more general programmes for collaborative research and funding in Norway here.
HiOA plays an active role in European research programmes such as Horizon 2020, the EEA Financial Mechanisms, Erasmus + and the sectoral programmes. The R&D section supports researchers and research environments that wish to apply; see website about support for the development of EU applications.
The Nordic Council of Ministers has established Nordforsk and NICe in order to develop the Nordic region into a leading region for research and innovation.
