Erasmus+ Mobility Grant for Training Purposes – Inspiration

Many HiOA staff members have seized the opportunity for staff exchange, and gained international experience, skills and inspiration. Here are some examples of how to use the Erasmus+ Mobility Grant for professional Development.

Improved English skills

  • Asta Kristiansen, Senior Adviser, Department of External Relations and Communications, attended a language course at The London School of English, Canterbury, autumn 2015.

Learned about the EU and the Oslo Region European Office (ORE)

  • Hege Nedberg, Senior Advisor, Faculty of Social Sciences, Section for Research and Development, visited ORE in Brussels autumn 2015, and learned about the research administration at other universities.

Cooperation opportunities within sports journalism

  • Bjørg Halvorsen, Senior Advisor, Faculty of Social Sciences, Section for Academic Affairs  and Internationalisation, and Anders Graver Knudsen, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Journalism and Media Studies, attended an International Week at the University of Central Lancashire, spring 2016.

Gained Inspiration from the Netherlands to the future university library at HiOA

  • Mari Serine Kannelønning and Gry Bettina Moxnes, Special Librarians, Department of Learning Centre and Library, the Learning Centre P48, visited in autumn 2016 Radboud University Nijmegen.

The Primary and Secondary Teacher Education on exchange

  • Expanded their perspective on what we do here at HiOA. A bachelor´s degree student, a PhD Candidate, an administrative staff member, two teachers and a Head of Studies gained international experience in Canterbury.
