Erasmus+ Mobility Grant for Teaching Purposes

Erasmus + mobility grant for teaching purposes provides staff members at HiOA with the opportunity to teach at one of HiOA’s Erasmus + partner institutions in Europe.

Where can I go?

HiOA cooperates with partner institutions in most countries included in Erasmus +. This includes the 28 EU-countries, in addition to Iceland, Liechtenstein,Turkey and Macedonia. Please contact the international coordinator at your department/faculty to find out where you can go.

What are the conditions for applying for a grant?

Your visit must be clarified with your Head of Section.

  • The visit must have a duration of minimum 4 days (where at least 2 days must include academic activities), maximum 2 months. Your stay must include a minimum of 8 hours of teaching/supervision per week, independent of duration.

  • The grant can be used for visits to a partner institution.

  • You may only visit one partner institution per grant.

  • The grant can be used to invite a guest lecturer from abroad if he/she is NOT working for a partner institution. The guest lecturer may come from a public or private enterprise, organisation, research institute, institution etc. In such cases, HiOA will pay for their stay in accordance with other rates. There must be an agreement in advance between department/academic environment at HiOA and the guest lecturer relating to coverage of possible expenses exceeding the rates.

  • You cannot receive a mobility grant for activities funded by other EU-cooperation programmes/projects.

 

Application

The next deadline is 15 October 2018 for staff exchange in the spring semester 2019. The link to the online application form will be published in medio September.
