A web-based sharing and storage location, i.e. an intranet for OsloMet’s employees.
The content on The Web Workplace is available when you have internet access through Feide login. Large parts of the content has open access which means that you do not need to log in to access it. Other parts however are locked and available only when you are logged in. To access groups that you own or are a member of, you must be logged in.
How groups function on The Web Workplace:
- All employees may create a group of academic or organisational nature or according to activity /subject affiliation.
- You may invite selected members or ask for a membership if the group is "open". Closed groups are accessible by a selection of members.
- Internal groups allow you to share and work on files and documents.
- Groups in NAP are not suitable for storing of sensitive information.
Anyone can create a group in Office 365 to collaborate and interact, for example on a project. Groups can be created regardless of affiliation and whether you are an employee or a student.
